Rejectee Therapy for Beam Me Up - Pilot

  • Animation is hard work, and I think you accomplish a lot for this pilot (as well as your last entry- Robo Goes to College).

Story-wise, Chutt's just an absurd character- so his journey here feels arbitrary. It's a little hard for me to rally behind him as the protagonist- and that made me check out early.

Technically, I think a little more polish would help. I think a quicker pace would help sell the comedy a bit better- plus maybe some light music could help bridge it all together.

Great job 5 minutes isn't easy to animate- can't wait for the next one.

  • Hey dude!

I think one thing that would help is try to make the dialogue flow a bit better. It really kills the momentum when there is a large pause between characters talking.

Try to make them go back and forth and feel snappy, keep our attention the whole time. I think you had our attention up until the 1:00 mark, and it slowly drags.

Just needs some tightening, and funnier lines is all.
